1 Day Short Film Challenge Workshop

The most wonderful thing about short films is that they can be of any length under 60 minutes, even 6 seconds! In this one day film challenge workshop, groups will be asked to come up with a short and snappy idea they can turn into a super short film. Our filmmakers will challenge them to think and act creatively, assisting by demonstrating techniques to refine your story and get shooting as quickly and successfully as possible.
This workshop offers a taster into the kinds of roles required to make a film, letting the entire group share in the duties and crafts necessary to put an idea in front of camera and make a great short film.
Who can take part?
This workshop is for +9 children, school groups, college groups, youth groups, groups with disabilities and SEN, young adult groups, community groups, parties, team-building days.
What materials we bring?
We provide all the production equipment such as lights, cameras and sound recording devices. Laptops with editing software and arts and crafts materials for props and set building.
Takeaways & Skills Learned?
A taster-experience of film production, from concept writing, storyboarding, script writing blocking scenes, directing, acting on screen, editing and more.
