Looking to create something as wildly imaginative as possible? The best thing about movie trailers is they are designed to introduce the premise of a movie and then show you all the fun and games that take place because of that premise.
In this workshop, our filmmakers assist the group in finding a premise or concept they can let their imagination run wild with, dreaming up imaginative situations that wouldn’t hold together under any other scenario, but allow the group to channel their creativity and vision into something unique and bursting with ideas. This workshop provides a great taster for understanding the principles and techniques of filmmaking without getting too deep into story structure.
Who can take part?
This workshop is for +9 children, school groups, college groups, youth groups, groups with disabilities and SEN, young adult groups, community groups, parties, team-building days.
What materials we bring?
We provide all the production equipment such as lights, cameras and sound recording devices. Laptops with editing software and arts and crafts materials for props and set building.
Takeaways & Skills Learned?
A taster-experience of film production, from concept writing, storyboarding, blocking scenes, directing, acting on screen, editing and more.
